Ice Cream Social Fall Ministry Kick-Off Event
<p>DCC will gather at Phelps Park, Shelter No. 1 for our Fall Kick Off Ice Cream Social. Ice cream (lots of ice cream), toppings (lots of toppings), bowls, spoons, and napkins (lots of napkins) will all be provided. There will also be yard games to play and fellowship to be enjoyed. We hope that this will serve as an opportunity to gather as a congregation to spend time with those friends and loved ones that you may not have seen much off over the last 18 months! We also hope that you will have an opportunity to meet some new people you may not already be familiar with. The beauty of fellowship has tremendous power to help each of us help each other to become closer to each other and closer to Christ. </p><p>There will be some short “gettin-to-know-ya” type activities led by some of our church staff and council members, but this is event is mainly meant for us to come together and just have fun while eating lots, and lots of ice cream. Please feel free to bring additional items if you’d like or your favorite yard games, but again these will be largely provided for you. So if you just want to bring yourselves, your families, and perhaps some friends of yours that may be looking for a warm and welcoming church community, bring ’em all and come on out!
