Life Groups
Life Groups bring individuals, couples, and families together across generations for a simple meal, fellowship, prayer, and discipleship. They help us to strengthen the Body and live out our values as we care for and about one another; share suffering, joy, laughter and tears; and grow together in love. Adult Christian Education
Adult Sunday School classes are offered at 10:30am every Sunday during the academic year. Classes are taught by congregation members and are usually discussion-based and focused on discipleship. This year’s offerings include multi-week series on prayer, racism, and defining the gospel.
Women’s Ministry
GATHER
The women of DCC are gathering each Tuesday morning at 7:30am here at DCC in the Gathering Space for Bible study, prayer and spiritual conversation. Please email the church office with any questions.
THE UPPER ROOM
Join us (Erin Swanson and Linda Hougen) for lunch in the upper room of the Warehouse every second Tuesday of the month from 11:00am – 12:00pm. Bring your own lunch and beverage. As of right now, the Upper Room ministry will look different in that we will only be meeting once a month and will not be focusing as much on crafting. Rather, we are looking forward it being a time of just simple connection, fellowship, and encouragement over lunch! We look forward to seeing you there! BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP (BSF)
Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) offers several classes for women in Decorah. As an international, ecumenical organization, BSF believes people discover their true purpose and identity by knowing God through His Word and exploring it in community. Join BSF for the study Revelation: The Hope. Classes meet on Wednesday mornings (at Prairie Lakes Church) or Thursday evenings (at DCC). Find out more or register at bsfinternational.org. We have several other groups that gather weekly around the Word and occasionally we host a Women’s Night Out for fun and fellowship. Check our events calendar to find out more about these events.
Men’s Ministry
FIREPIT MEN
Please join us on Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30am as we gather around the "Firepit" with men of faith. We are now meeting at Impact Coffee on Thursday mornings. Come and enjoy meaningful discussion of the Word of God as it guides our lives as sons, husbands, fathers, and leaders in the work of our church and the Kingdom of God. We are currently studying the book of Revelation. We hope you'll consider joining us! Please email the church office with questions.
DISCIPLESHIP
Discipling is an intentional relationship in which we walk alongside other disciples in order to encourage, equip and challenge one another in love to grow toward maturity in Christ. This includes equipping the disciple to make disciples who make disciples.
