Don Holmertz, Pastor
Rev. Don Holmertz was installed as Pastor at Decorah Covenant Church on October 31, 2010. Before moving to Decorah, he served as Sr. Pastor at Valley Evangelical Covenant Church in Stillman Valley, Illinois for 19 years. Pastor Don and Deanne have two grown children and are enjoying the Decorah community.

Julie Chamberlain, Worship Leader
Julie is a talented musician and a graduate of Luther College, she brings a multitude of musical experience and expertise. It also doesn’t hurt that she grew up in an Evangelical Covenant Church! Julie and her husband Brad (who is a Chemistry professor at Luther College) have two sons.
Donalee Burns, Administrative Assistant
Donalee has been attending Decorah Covenant since early 1999; one of the few natives of Decorah in the congregation. She is a graduate of Luther in Theatre Arts. Spending the last 37 years involved in the local community theatre has given her the experience she needed; most prominently - “creating” the job of secretary and multitasking. She has been in this position since April 2007.
