At the end of this week a group of 23 people from Decorah Covenant Church are heading down to Louisiana to a town outside of New Orleans (in the Pearl River/Slidell area). They will be driving 4 vans, towing a trailer of donated school supplies (donated from Decorah Area Schools through Decorah Cares), and bringing down several thousand dollars to aid with the rebuilding that is still taking place as a result of Hurricane Katrina. They leave this Friday, March 24th and return Saturday, April 1st.
